Kailash Manasarovar Yatra 14 Days:

Day 01: Kathmandu (1400m) – Arrive in Kathmandu and transfer to hotel.

Day 02: Kathmandu (1400m) – Kathmandu sightseeing (4 hrs) and yatra preparation.

Day 03:Timure/Syabrubesi (2000m)or Kodari 1800m – Drive to Nepal-China border (165 km, 7 hrs / 120km).

Day 04: Kyirong (2700m) (Nyalam) – Complete border formalities, then drive to Kyirong (24 km, 1 hr)/ Nyalam.

Day 05: Kyirong (2700m) Nyalam (3650m)– Acclimatization Day with short walks.

Day 06: Saga (4500m) – Drive to Saga (250 km, 5hrs).

Day 07: Lake Manasarovar (4500m) – Drive to Holy Lake Manasarovar, complete vehicle Parikrama (470 km,9hrs).

Day 08: Darchen (4700m) – Perform rituals at Manasarovar, then drive to Darchen (40 km, 1 hr).

Day 09: Diraphuk (5000m) – Drive to Yamdwar, then trek to Diraphuk (12 km trek, 4-6 hrs).

Day 10: Zuthulphuk (4790m) – Trek over Dolma La Pass (5620m) to Zuthulphuk (22 km trek, 10 hrs).

Day 11: Saga (4500m) – Complete final trek (7 km, 2 hrs), then drive back to Saga (500 km, ~7 hrs).

Day 12: Kyirong (2700m)/Nyalam – Drive back to Kyirong (250 km, 5hrs)/ Nyalam(250km).

Day 13: Kathmandu (1400m) – Complete border formalities, then drive back to Kathmandu (165 km,6-7 hrs).

Day 14: Kathmandu – Depart from Kathmandu.

Detailed Itinerary

Day 01: Arrival in Kathmandu Arrive at Kathmandu Airport and receive a traditional Khada welcome. Transfer to your hotel and check into your twin-sharing accommodation. Enjoy a vegetarian buffet dinner. Overnight stay at Kathmandu (1400m). Day 02: Kathmandu Sightseeing & Yatra Preparation After breakfast, visit Pashupatinath Temple, Jal Narayan (Budhanilkantha), and Gujeshwori Temple. After lunch, attend the Kailash Yatra briefing and complete final preparations. Overnight stay at Kathmandu (1400m).
Day 03: Drive to Timure / Syabrubesi After breakfast and Swastivachan ceremony, drive to the Nepal-China border via Syabrubesi/Timure (165 km / 7 hrs). Day 04: Immigration & Drive to Kyirong Complete immigration formalities at Rasuwa Gadhi and continue to Kyirong (24 km / 1 hr). Day 05: Acclimatization Day Spend the day acclimatizing with short walks, temple visits, shopping, and preparation for higher altitude travel.
Day 06: Drive to Saga Drive through beautiful Tibetan landscapes crossing Ghungtang-La Pass (5236m). Enjoy views of waterfalls, monasteries, forests, and the Brahmaputra River. Day 07: Drive to Holy Lake Manasarovar Witness your first view of Mt. Kailash and Holy Lake Manasarovar. Complete the Manasarovar Parikrama by vehicle and enjoy stunning sunset and stargazing opportunities. Overnight stay at Manasarovar (4500m).
Day 08: Puja, Hawan & Drive to Darchen Take a holy bath at Lake Manasarovar and participate in Puja, Hawan, Meditation, and spiritual rituals before driving to Darchen. Day 09: Yamdwar & Trek to Diraphuk Drive to Yamdwar and begin the first day of Kailash Parikrama. Trek 12 km to Diraphuk and enjoy magnificent views of the North Face of Mt. Kailash. Overnight stay at Diraphuk (4950m).
Day 10: Trek to Zuthulphuk The most challenging day of the Yatra. Cross the sacred Dolma La Pass (5620m), visit Gaurikunda, and continue to Zuthulphuk. Day 11: Complete Parikrama & Drive to Saga Finish the final 7 km trek and reunite with fellow pilgrims. Continue the return drive to Saga. Overnight stay at Saga (4500m).
Day 12: Drive Back to Kyirong Drive through the Tibetan plateau back to Kyirong and relax after the completion of the sacred parikrama. Day 13: Return to Kathmandu Complete immigration formalities at the border and drive back to Kathmandu. Enjoy a farewell dinner and overnight stay in Kathmandu.
Day 14: Departure After breakfast, transfer to Kathmandu International Airport for your onward journey. Your sacred Kailash Manasarovar Yatra concludes with unforgettable spiritual memories and blessings.
